Fabregas states that the lack UEFA Champions League helped Chelsea

Chelsea was claimed as the champions of England for the Premier League season of 2016-17 and it was a very dominating campaign from Antonio Conte and his squad as they were mostly positioned in the 1st spot for the majority of the season with no club being able to really show a challenge for them except for Tottenham Hotspur but even they could not truly do much to stop Chelsea from lifting their 6th domestic league title.

One of the things that Chelsea´s Cesc Fabregas has recently stated to have helped his team in going through such an imposing form is that they did not have to compete in the UEFA Champions League or the UEFA Europa League during that season.

Cesc Fabregas was making an appearance in the television show A League Of Their Own with Jamie Redknapp and the Spanish midfielder revealed details concerning the dominant season of Chelsea as he said: Read More

FABREGAS ASKS MORATA TO ADAPT FAST

Chelsea playmaker Cesc Fabregas has advised his newest teammate Alvaro Morata to adapt fast at Stamford Bridge following his reported £70 million move.

The Spaniard asked his compatriot to settle down fast to the required business if he wants to succeed in the role as his predecessor Diego Costa.

The former Real Madrid striker is set to lead the attack line of the Blues in the forthcoming season following the likely departure of Costa. The former Atletico Madrid striker has enjoyed an impressive run at Chelsea but manager Antonio Conte says he does not want the player in his team anymore, despite the success of last term.

The 24-year old Morata is expected to replicate the form of Costa as Conte hopes to retain the league title. MichyBatshuayi is expected to get more game time, assisting and supporting Morata, as the fixtures of the club increase following a return to European football. Read More

FABREGAS TO REMAIN AT STAMFORD BRIDGE

Chelsea playmaker Cesc Fabregas is set to remain at Stamford Bridge beyond this summer as Manchester United edge closer to completing the deal for NemanjaMatic.

The Bluesseem to prefer to lose the Serbian than letting the former Arsenal and Barcelona man leave.

TiemoueBakayoko is reportedly almost done with his move to Stamford Bridge from Monaco. He would be the replacement for Matic while Fabregas remains the creative force in the middle.

For most time last season, N’GoloKante paired Matic in the middle while Fabregas came on mostly as a substitute to create chances. The pair of Kante and Matic was successful as they played a crucial role in the middle as Chelsea strolled to the title win in Coach Antonio Conte’s debut season.

The creativity of the Spaniard in the middle gave him the edge over Matic and United’s interest was timely. Conte does not mind much for strengthening a top rival like Jose Mourinho all just to retain Fabregas and free cash for other things.

The deal for the French player Bakayoko is expected to be completed soon. The 22-year old defensive-minded player is a direct step up from Matic while Fabregas retains his creative freedom in the middle. Read More

Cesc Fabregas remains optimistic despite being dropped

CescFabregas arrived to Chelsea on June of 2014 for a price tag of €33 million and ever since his first season with the Premier League club, the Spanish midfielder has undoubtedly been a regular starter.

For the very first time since arriving to Stamford Bridge, Fabregas is beginning to look more like a substitute player than an actual performer on the pitch as Antonio Conte has consistently been dropping CescFabregas to the sidelines and most of the playing time that Fabregas actually does manage to get, it’s from the bench as an impact substitute player.

This is something that is rare to see, especially for a highly-rated player such as CescFabregas. The Spanish midfielder is regularly being praised for his contributions not only in Chelsea but also with his former clubs.

Even though Fabregas is being more restricted in terms of his playing time in the actual pitch, he has still managed to make an impact as he has provided his teammates with 7 assists and scored 3 goals.

Out of the 28 Premier League matches that Chelsea has played, Fabregas has managed to make 19 appearances and 12 of those arrived from the bench but nonetheless, his impact and contributions have still been felt. Read More

FABREGAS TO REMAIN AT CHELSEA

Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas is set to remain at Chelsea after Coach Antonio Conte praised his contribution to the team of recent.

The player was largely rumoured to be set to leave Stamford Bridge particularly as he was rarely played by the manager and a switch in formation made the team ‘invincible,’ leaving little room for the creative former Gunner.

However the fate of the player has quickly changed, seeing as he has been instrumental to the team of late. Conte hailed the player at a press conference, saying:

“Cesc, we all know him, and I’m very pleased with his attitude, his commitment and for his work-rate in training sessions. Also, when I call him during the game, it’s important for me to see the right spirit,” the Italian boss said.

FABREGAS EXPLAINS ENGLAND-SPAIN SNUB

Spain international Cesc Fabregas has explained reasons why he would not be attending the England-Spain international friendly game on Tuesday.

The out-of-favour player at club and national level opted to miss the game despite receiving invitation to attend as a guest of the Spanish Football Federation to support the team to victory.

According to news source Sport, the player cited ‘personal reasons’ as his excuse for the snub. The player has started the new campaign on a poor note, dropping from the first team at Stamford Bridge. Fabregas has started just one game this term – the 3-0 loss against Arsenal, his former club.

At the international level, Spain’s new coach Julen Lopetegui also labelled Fabregas surplus to requirements despite the injury crisis that hit the squad. England based Spaniards Santi Cazorla, Pedro and Adrian received the official invitation by the Spanish apex body to attend the friendly game.

At the game against Macedonia on Saturday, Lopetegui played Aritz Aduriz. Aduriz became Spain’s oldest ever goalscorer at 35 years 275 days. The player has been scoring since returning to his club Athletic Bilbao four years ago. He seems like a late bloomer.

In the last two terms, he has won the Zara Trophy for being the top Spanish goalscorer in the La Liga. He is not a fast player, but he seems to be blooming – at almost 36 years of age – when other top Spanish strikers are at the twilight of their careers. The game provided him with another testament, and he is expected to feature against England.

For someone that went on a six-year hiatus after making his international debut at the age of 29 under Vicente del Bosque, he seems keen on making his mark before retirement when he finally does. Lopetegui praised the player after his feat, calling the striker a “fantastic professional.”

Is Fabregas on the verge of leaving Stamford Bridge?

Fabregas has gone from being an extremely influential player with Chelsea during his debut season with the Premier League club back on August of 2014 where he managed to make 34 appearances.

In the following season, the Spanish midfielder made 37 appearances but ever since Antonio Conte arrived to the Premier League club, things have taken a turn for the worse as Fabregas has barely had any kind of impact in Chelsea in the current season.

The 29 year old midfielder is struggling to get playing time and there are rumors being spread that are linking Fabregas with a move to the Italian side Ac.Milan.

It’s even rumored that Fabregas has already held talks with the chiefs of Ac.Milan as negotiations are believed to have been taking place for the past few days but nothing has been officially confirmed.

Vincenzo Montella has recently stated that signing CescFabregas is not in his plans as the midfielder just would not fit with the system that he has envisioned for his players to utilize but despite Montella coming out and actually saying that Fabregas is not one of his targets this has not stopped reports and more rumors from emerging as each day that passes by there are a larger amount of websites which say that a move is edging closer. FABREGAS TO EXIT CHELSEA IN JANUARY

Chelsea play maker Cesc Fabregas might see his time at Stamford Bridge come to an end as he is poised to leave the side when the next transfer window presents itself.

Express Sport reports that the club has made a decision to dump the former Arsenal and Barcelona player in January.

Fabregas has struggled to get first team action since coach Antonio Conte took over at Chelsea. With options like former Leicester City player N’Golo Kante, Nemanja Matic and Brazil international Oscar, the Spaniard’s chance are just limited. The 29-year old has insisted that he is willing to fight for a starting role at the club, rather than leave to get regular action elsewhere.

The news report say Chelsea are willing to listen to offers for the playmaker, but they are unlikely to push him out to any other Premier League club. There were a lot of interests in the Spain international during the summer. AC Milan were keen on adding him to their ranks but it didn’t eventually happen. With the Chinese ready to inject funds when they complete the takeover of the club, Fabregas is on the top of the wish list. Read More

Antonio Conte Praises Professional Attitude of Cesc Fabregas

Cesc Fabregas has lost his place in a Chelsea first-team upon the arrival of Antonio Conte and this has been a major surprise given the quality of the Spanish playmaker.

He has performed exceptionally well – apart from a couple of poor periods – in his two years at the club. Hence, it was surprising to see him on the bench even from pre-season. It has been speculated that Fabregas has been looking towards a return to Spanish football with his place at Chelsea being unsure. After being on the substitutes bench for the opening game, Fabregas was not called upon even when the blues were chasing the game.

However, he has made a huge difference by coming on to help the team win in the 2-1 victory over Watford while going on to star in the 3-2 win over Bristol Rovers in the EFL Cup. Now, it appears that there may be a chance for Fabregas to return to the first-team after manager Conte praised his attitude despite being on the bench for key matches. The Italian says that Fabregas has been an exemplary professional and he has not reduced the work that he puts into training as a result of being dropped. A couple of injuries may see Fabregas back in the reckoning for the first team action.

Antonio Conte warns everyone that Chelsea could suffer again

Antonio Conte made a name for himself as a top manager after successively winning 3 Serie A titles with Juventus and these achievements played a huge role in allowing Conte getting recognized as someone who can win significant titles and be in charge of big squads.

After Conte’s time with Juventus was over, he opted to become the new manager of the Italian national football team as he replaced Cesare Prandelli who had resigned from his managerial position in the national side.

During Conte’s charge in the Italian side, he managed to lead Italy to the top of their group which was the first time that they had managed to do it in a major tournament since the 2006 World Cup and Italy was eventually knocked out in the quarter-finals after losing against Germany in a penalty session.

The latest managerial position of Antonio Conte is with the Premier League side Chelsea and the experienced tactician is the man that was selected to rescue the English outfit from their previous disappointing season where they finished at the 10th spot of the English League.

Conte is regarded as a top class manager and this is why he was the man chosen to bring back the glory days of Chelsea but the Italian coach himself has stated that the task of winning the Premier League title or even snatching a European position will be a difficult one and that there is a big risk of seeing them underperform once again unless the necessary changes and steps are properly taken.
