FABREGAS WOWED BY TWO ARSENAL PLAYERS

Spanish midfielder Cesc Fabregas was left wowed by two Arsenal players during the Premier League clash at Watford earlier in the month. Cesc Fabregas could not hide his excitement about the Arsenal duo of Martin Odegaard and Bukayo Saka for their respective displays in the 3-2 away win over Watford who are battling to stay in the Premier League this season.

Cesc Fabregas shared his excitement about the Arsenal duo of Saka and Odegaard with his followers on Twitter as he labelled them as exceptional players. The two players were on the scoresheet as the Gunners secured another win in their march towards securing a top-four spot at the end of the season.

Saka and Odegaard combined for the first goal of the game scored by the latter on five minutes before Cucho Hernandez equalised for the hosts with a spectacular overhead kick on 11 minutes. Saka added a second Arsenal later in the half to ensure that the North Londoners went into the break with an advantage. The advantage was then extended with a third goal from Brazilian attacker Gabriel Martinelli. The game became nervy for Arsenal in the last four minutes when Mohamed Sissoko pulled one back for the Hornets, but Arsenal held on to take the three points and boost their top-four hopes.

Since the win over Watford, Arsenal have won two and lost one of their three league games to put themselves in pole position for fourth spot ahead of the final two months of the season. The Gunners occupy fourth spot at the moment on the Premier League log and they have played one more game than nearest challengers Tottenham Hotspur who are three points adrift in fifth place.

For Watford, the target is survival and they are third from bottom. They are three points off safety at the moment.
